Trouble getting dingy out of slip

My 40' MY is in a very tight slip. I have to put her in the slip bow first as I only have about 3 feet of clearence from the vessel opposite my slip when I back her out. If I put the rib behind my boat, I have no room to manuver. I was thinking of tying a line to her, pulling her out as I manuver into the channel and then pull her astearn once I'm clear. Rib is too heavy to to pull aboard, no room for a davit, engine to heavy to remove everytime I want to run, so I have to rule out one of those swim platform brackets. Any ideas? I may have to buy a smaller portable roll up if I can't figure something out.

Re: Trouble getting dingy out of slip

I have tied them up hullside to the stern, tight. After backing out I tie her up for towing. I have duel engine controls which make the tight manuvering possible. Otherwise I have somebody pull the dingy out and pick them up. Hope you find your solution.

I would re-think a set of Weaver davits in combination with a Weaver Lever.

I'll give this way a try. I've got dual controls also, so I can manuver her in tight spots.
Thanks,
