On my 48 SPL, the throttle cam roller sleeve was missing so I am replacing it. When taking off the old o-ring, it just fell apart. I have (had) 2 replacement o-rings. After putting the new throttle cam roller on, the new o-ring was very stubborn and I even tried some silicone spray to lube it but it still split. Lucky for me, I had 2. I figured I should ask before having the second one split as well. Is there a secret or trick to getting one of these new o-rings on? I did try searching but came up empty.
