I have an OMC Tru-Course steering system on my boat and need a new or used steering wheel. I would prefer new but what I have seen on the market does not have the correct spline count. Is there a wheel out there that I am not aware of that would fit my system? Is there possibly an adapter that would allow a person to install one of the popular after market wheels? I looked at the Daytona wheel this morning and it only has about 6 or 8 spline grooves where my shaft on the tru course system is much more then that and smaller splines.

Ayuh,.... What's the matter with yer wheel,..??

If the splines in the hub are Good,..
It could be cut down, 'n used to build an adapter....

Wheel was cracked and broken when I bought the boat. Are you saying I should take the hub out of the old wheel and somehow adapt it to a new wheel?
