TRYING TO DECARD A MOTOR, BUT CANT START IT

HI, all, quick question, I was trying to decard the motor 15 hp Gamefisher, but directions say to start the motor and spray decard stuff into the carburator and let it dye, but in my case it doesnt want to start so I cant even start spraying decarb stuff.... any hints for procedure?<br />thanks.

Take the motor off the boat or stand.<br />Prop it up so that the sparkplugs are pointing up.<br />Remove plugs and spray a half can into each cylinder.<br /><br />Your still gonna have to start it somehow, to blow the crud out. Hopefully it will start after the rings are cleaned a little.<br /><br />Are you sure you are getting spark and gas to each cylinder?<br />If not, get that fixed before doing the decarb.
