I am trying to spec out a new trailer for a 2001 Fisher DLX 220 with a 60 HP Merc Bigfoot. To do so properly, I need to know the dry and wet weights, but, Fisher Marine is out of business and I have no idea where to go to fine the info. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure it's on par with any other 22' pontoon..keeping in mind if there is a 3rd toon or not. "Wet" i assume you mean with a full tank of gas....figure ~7lbs a gallon. My 24' with about 10 gallons of fuel, no motor and no seats a was ~1,600lbs.
Should be able to google search what the average is...not a huge difference between pontoon manufactures if the dimensions are the same.

What's to spec out? Just grab a 22 foot tandem axle barge trailer with brakes and you be good.

Not sure how specific you need to be. I have a 2001 fisher 24 foot with 4 fishing chairs, a capacity of 12 passengers and a 125 mercury and it came with a Tracker bunk trailer with tandem wheels and surge brakes. I don't know what you intend to use for a tow vehicle, but I would advise you to go to a similar trailer. As long as you are buying a new trailer you might as well accommodate the probability of 2 footitis, and have a trailer that will handle the larger boat that is probably in your future. The surge brakes will help keep the boat from pushing your tow vehicle around. I am not sure what they consider a wet weight except for gas and a little equipment. You can figure gas at 8 pounds a gallon and my boat has about a 30 gallon tank. I believe the title for my boat listed 3100 pounds for weight if that helps you any. Remember you can never go wrong by going a little bigger rather than a little lighter especially in a trailer that you are wheeling down the road at 70 mph.

A 2001 200 DLX weighs 2000lbs There is no listing for a 2001 220 DLX
There is a listing for 2002 220 DLX at 2200 lbs.

Read more here.

Boat Manufacturers

Also, Firsher was aquired by Tracker and they can provide information.

Go to nadaguides.com and look up the "value" of the boat. When you choose the year Make and model it will give you the dry weight. You can do the same for the engine. IF you model shows it comes with an engine, Just spec the wt of that engine and the one you have for the difference. As for wet weight, just add the wt of gas etc.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone, I got through to Tracker and they were able to break down all the info for me. A dealer put an undersized trailer under her and I am just gathering up all my info to go back and hash this out.

Good luck! I had the same thing happen - and I'm CERTAIN that it wasn't a mistake on the dealers part - that is, they did it intentionally.
