Re: Trying to determine the year and model of this Starcraft aluminum

You will not be able to do it :( The older Starcraft used a metal stick on label on the inside of the transom and if the wood was ever replaced many times people do not re-install the label.

Now the good news ..... we have a severe Starcraft addiction here on iboats and a HUGE following :D I own two myself ;)

We have a dedicated Starcraft forum and contained within that on a "sticky" post there are brochures and you might be able to match up your boat! http://forums.iboats.com/Starcraft_Boats?boatid=243

Welcome to iboats!

Well its a car topper and they look the same from year to year so we prob cant help on the year. That is a 70's era decal on it though. But model we can probably nail down. Is it welded bottom or riveted? And how long? 12 feet?

Wow, such a fast response...thank you!!! It's a 12' riveted bottom. Agreed, the decal looks more like from the late 80s, maybe 90s. I'm looking to purchase this and the current owner has no idea on it's "origins".

I think I'm getting a decent deal in trade for my 11' inflatable (Quicksilver 330). The seats and floats were replaced last year. Thanks again!!
