Someone abandoned a boat a boat at a house we just bought and I'm trying to get some info on the year and what it might be worth. Here are the details:

Glastron Skiflite V 142 with a mercury 650 (not sure if even runs)
Serial number is 139251
Model # 142 NB

Can anyone tell me if they know what year this is and how to find out what it's worth? It has no seats in it and needs obvious cosmetic detailing. I've never owned a boat before but it seems like a pretty cool boat and an old one. Not sure if it's a classic or not. It's blue and white and doesn't have a windshield either.

Thanks so much.

According to Glastron, you have a 6 digit HIN. Those usually mean it's from the 60's. The third digit from the left indicates it's a 1969 V-142 SkiFlite. I have a 1970 SkiFlite in the same color scheme as yours. You have a nice little 14' classic runabout from Glastron. I really love mine. Any pictures of it?
You can see it here. http://www.classicglastron.com/69gl-v142-153.html It was rated for 50HP. A merc 650 would make it fly. ;)
You can go to www.classicglastron.com for more info and forums. They are very helpful over there.
