Trying to figure out alternator model

This alternator is off my 1969 fabuglas - OMC with a 120 engine. The batt is not charging and I took this in to an auto store to test it but we couldn't figure out what the model number was. The model # plate is blank on the unit. I assume this is my problem but if i have to replace it I don't even know where to start. Can anyone tell me what or how to find my model number?

Take it to any starter or alternator shop and have it rebuilt.It will be cheaper than a replacement and you know it will fit and work correctly...

I found mine stamped into the top of the alternator...6 or 7 digit number...googled it and found it was a AC Delco $70 to replace.
