I've got a 3.0 tks engine with alpha 1 drive. I am trying to get the idle down to spec (650 rpm). It currently was idling smoothly at 1,100 rpm. I tried lowing idle speed at the carb and got it down to around 900 with minor stubbling. If I lower it any further, it stalls. I checked timing and it is around 4 BTDC around 1,000 rpm. Spec at idle is 2 ATDC. I tried adjusting it and I can't lower it any without stumble. Is there any know problem with this engine that would limit me to 1,000 rpm without stumbling? I check plugs, wires, and cap with everything looking decent.
