I got ahold of a free 14' trihull. The faded ID plate says:
Lyn Craft Boats Sarasota Florida
Emblem on sides say Seabreeze
Serial no. 1215974 V
Model no. 1500V
Does anybody have any info on this boat?
Can take pics if needed. Thanks all!

The info they show is a little different than mine. Could mine be different yet or maybe a test hybrid model? Anyway the transom height is the biggest difference than what they show. My transom height from the bottom of the cutout where the motor clamps on to the very bottom of the hull is 20.5". Would this be for a short or long shaft motor?

I would say long shaft.

Make sure you inspect the boat really well for bad glass, finding a 36 year old glass boat that isn't rotted is pretty rare and there is no sense putting money into a dead horse.

Just make sure the transom and stringers are in good shape.

I see you are from South Bend, you wouldn't happen to know if they raised twin branch yet would you.

That is my favorite stretch or river, put in at the Elkhart hospital and fish down by Oceola and this is the best time of year to go but with it being 6' low it is kinda hard.

Ayuh,... Generally speakin',.. Transoms, 'n outboard motors come in 15", 20", 'n 25" configurations...

You need a 20" motor...
