Trying to locate serial# johnson vr150

Hello All,
I have a Johnson VR150 outboard. I've looked all over but can't find the serial, maybe its hidden. Any help would be appericiated.

If you want to find out the year model it is the model number you need, not the serial number. It should be on a small plate riveted to the transom mount.

Failing that you might find it on a welch plug on top of the power head.

Hello,
Its a vro 150. I found a plug on the block with G3074626 on it but I thought that was to short.. Here is a pic of where it is . If thats it, how do you tell what year and model??

that is a serial number, no published, dealers are the only ones with access, call at dealer.
