Just got a new tube for my 20ft i/o v6 larson. At the store they only had a 12 foot tow rope which I thought was way to small and a 60 foot. So I got the 60 foot.
My questions is what is the proper length I should have for towing a one person tube. Is 60 feet good or should it be shorter. First time boat owner here. Thanks
Dave

HMMM i think 60 feet is a little long, both my tube rope and Skiing rope is about 30 feet or so.

I tow tubes on a 60 foot rope -- that is pretty much the standard for tubes. For skiing, its 75 feet.

Enjoy!

60 ft on all of my tube ropes also. I have seen 50', but most out there are 60' ones.

+1 60' You can get a 50' rope which comes in handy on slower boats. It makes it a little easier to sling people off. The bungee rope is also a 50'
