Re: Tuna

Wicked Tuna just got me kicked out of a bar in Boston which I rightfully deserved. I couldn't stop saying "Wicked Smahht". It was like a nervous twitch I had or something.
They could have gotten me back by saying things like; Dontcha Know or Hey Dare!
Anyway, beautiful part of the country though, and nice fish.

yeah, they can catch that many in a day....the quota goes by tonnage and is split between just four licences. there have been times that the guys ( in-laws), have had upwards of 200 fish swimming and being fed in pens. its referred to as tuna ranching. the day that pic was taken they harvested 41.

Once you taste fresh tuna, you will never eat canned or anything from a grocery store again. :):)

Im jelous of you guys that are in salt water, anytime I had the time to go south to fish salt water, I had a blast, and always caught something. If there were fish on the finder,I caught something. Here in WI I fish lake Michigan, and the other small lakes, and get skunked alot. Im love to fish, and then let them go. I do keep what I can eat for two people when we get perch over 12inchs though.
