I saw something funny as heck a few months ago. I was at a construction site and there was a guy sitting in his pickup with a turkey call. He had called a gobbler to his truck and everytime he sounded the call the turkey would try to fly into the closed window. Where are these stupid birds during hunting season?

It's fairly common nowadays around these parts to come across a rafter of 10-20 hens scurrying across the road, even during hunting season.<br /><br />You're right about the toms, you can never see them during legal season.
