Twin 1993 140 looper RPMs

I've done tons of work, Carson reeds, new timer bases, rebuilt carbs, No VRO, runNing the house shaped pumps.
Stbd motor is perfect, 6200 RPM max, Port motor gets to 5k and tops, though will turn 5500 trimmed up.
it's a fishing boat so I'm not a speed freak, what I'm afraid is it straving for fuel and running lean? it runs flawless up to 5000 , no miss is evident , best cruise is 4400, keep going as is or find cause of rpm difference?

Do a cylinder drop test on it.

I'll give it a try boobie, never did it as my compression is 120,117,120,120 so figured all was good, but never know...I had all kinds of issues after putting all the parts on,after replacing every piece of hose on fuel side it finally runs good, this has been almost as fun as the time I put my hand down on a hot soldering iron...

You could still have some ignition problems.
