When greasing the P/S actuator on a cobra via the zerk fitting how do you know when you have the correct amount of grease in the actuator? The service manual said not to over grease the actuator and the manual also said to install 1 oz of grease to the actuator.
When I greased it this spring I gave it four pumps with my grease gun.
I then tried to measure how much four pumps is and the best I can tell it is about 1/2 to 3/4 oz of grease.

Second question, on a 5.7 Cobra can the P/S actuator be removed and re installed without removing the engine?

Thanks
George

Ayuh,.... A couple of pumps is Plenty,...

Removal depends on access to the transom...
If ya can work on it, it'll come out...

Why ya wantin' to do that anyways,..??
