Hey, all
I'm getting my boat ready for the spring (it's Wisconsin, it hasn't quite come yet), and the fuel primer bulb has hardened to the point it takes a pliers to make it do anything. It's not the cold, as I usually have to replace a bulb near the end of summer, too.
This happens regularly, to the point I now buy two to have a spare in the boat.
I'm running a '79 70 HP Mercury Mariner, on 50:1 premix, using regular gasoline with 10% alcohol. Can't get away from the stuff.
So, what bulb can I buy that isn't going to turn into a rock after a few months?
Thank you.
