The first 1 is I have a gamefisher 7.5 which of the holes should the level pin be placed for the best result on moving a14 ft jon boat .2nd? What is the largest size motor that could be used safely on a 14ft jon

1) Try all the holes and leave it in the hole that gives the best result.

2) Trick question. Can't be answered because of lack of information. Just like "How many degrees before TDC is the timing set to on a 327 CI motor in a stock 1955 Chevy?"

Look on the manufacturers plate on the transom or close to it for the maximum horse power and capacity rating for your boat.
