Two Stroke manufacturing years

What were the most recent years that Evinrude, Johnson and Mercury, manufactured 6, 9.9, and 15 hp motors in the 2 stroke models? I am interested in these motors because of their light weight, as I am looking to replace my worn out 1976 and 1990 6 and 15 hp outboard motors.

Worn out? They are only 20 and 34 years old! I have never seen an outboard that was really worn out, and that includes JohnnyRude 6s and 15s.

If they have suffered over the years it would be much more economical to replace a few key parts than to replace the whole outboards. They are every bit as well designed and built as the very latest models.

Sorry I can't tell you when they stopped making them, but it was a sad day for many fishermen.
