I see that last year California banned the use of carberated and older efi 2strokes.And i think Arizona has the ban also? So what do you people think the projected forecast is in regarding the rest of the country? I would asume that more states will follow.

I can't wait for a politician to suggest that here in the midwest. He/she would be tarred and feathered. Without getting into specifics I could see a phased program of sorts but hunting, fishing, and recreational boating is a livelyhood for a significant population and their business would be trashed with a sudden and blanket ban. By the way, the new two strokes will not be banned. They are as clean or cleaner than most four-strokes.

Contrary to what you heard, California has NOT banned 2-stroke motors.

Since about 2001 you cannot sell a NEW motor that does not meet their 2-star rating.

Here is their officlal word:

http://www.dbw.ca.gov/TwoStroke/TwoStroke.asp
