Type of Oil and how much ? OMC 400 HYDRO SHIFT (non electric)

Hello again

Wondering now I got my upper rebuilt and back on the lower what type of oil does it take? Any help would be appreciated

OMC Stern Drive 400 series FULLY MECHANICAL

Also how much is 64 oz correct?

I use quicksilver high pro. In everything exept electric shift.

80W lower unit lube should be fine.

80/90 is right. 64 oz is for top and bottom.

Thanks fellas I went with 80/90 on a hunch about a day after I posted org. I also used marine grease for the shafts.
I hope all is well but I wont know untill I start it up and get it out on the water. My only fear is I didnt grease something enough or something else and something is going to break. I guess only time will tell. Gary

p.s. the starter was bad so I had to order it . Will be 2 days till it gets here. I hope after that no more jobs. Who knows though we can only wish.

p.s.s. Project boat is just that a never ending project.
