As sugested by Don, I'm going to attempt a bellows replacement because of the difficulty I had in reinstalling my 86 omc cobra drive after doing my first winter maintaince. I have a Seloc manual and it does not explain this procedure very well at all. Question 1, is this a real difficult job?, 2, does the pivot housing have to come off? 3 what holds the bellows on the drive end? , I don't see any clamp. All the manual says is to remove it. Any help is greatly apreciated. I'm new at this and real nervous about the hole thing. Thanks Ernie.

1, Not a difficult job.
2, No the pivot housing doesn't have to come off.
3, On the drive end of the U-Joint bellows there is nothing mechanical holding it on.
Be sure to use bellows adhesive on the sealing surfaces of the bellows. Very important of the drive side.
Put a new hose clamp on the transom side, making sure that the adjuster is at the 4 o:clock position, AND that you get all of the ground wires re attached.
