Hello, my question is: Is the U-joint Bellows used on the newer SX/DPS-A drives the same as the one used on the SX-M/DP/S drives? There are many references I've seen that list the newer bellows part number as a suitable replacement for the older drives but not vise/versa. Read on a another forum that the newer number for the SX-A drives was a sneaky way to keep one from buying after market parts. I pulled my outdrive this weekend to check alignment and grease the splines and I must say that the bellows certainly looks the same as what's on a SX-M . Thanx in advance for any and all replies.

Just bought the new one for my DPS-A. It was the new part number, dont have it near me at the time. The difference between the old and the new that I can tell is that the old ones are more "rubbery" and the new part is more of a hard plastic.
