U-joint input spline size?

Hi, I have an 86 SunRunner 310SB with twin AQ260/290A SPs. I am trying to determine if the u-joint input spline from the motor shaft is 10 or 27 spline.
I cannot seem to find specifics for that build date.
Does anyone know which spline Volvo Penta used coming from the 260 5.0V8 into the 290A transmission u-joint?

It should be a 27
The parts schematic shows original part number for a 290A is 854303 that number has been replaced by part number 3860230 and it's 27 spline

For comparison an older 280 drive lists original part number 839028 , that number has been replaced by 3860231 that's 10 spline

Thanks, I had seen that drawing too, but was still confused because 290 is listed for both.

OK, well I pulled both outdrives this week. They are the 10 spline. So, I guess I will order U-joints for 3860231.

The age also determines the splines.
The older uses the 10 newer uses the 27
