U.S. News censored

[NOSLEEP]

I am hearing reports in Canada that information<br />regarding al-qaida involvement in Iraq has been<br />censored to the American public by some of the<br />leading news media prior to and during the Invasion<br />of Iraq.<br />Is this news in the U.S. Today, or is it just some<br />kind of spin. <br /><br />Saddam had conspired with al-qaida to attack <br />the U.S. <br />Provided housing and money to terrorists.As well<br />as training camps.

I don't think anyone here has top secret clearance to actually know everything about it, but I'm sure many will give their thoughts.

Why would the government want to supress that kind of information? It would only bolster their cause it seems to me.

Sounds like some paranoid extremist right wing crusade against whatever is published and not right wing enough in their view.<br />These news blurbs remind me of the arab media where truth is only important if it sells.

Actually I have heard this as well. I believe there is something about it in the USA Today. I am also curious why the White House isn't trumpeting this from the rooftops. It is my understanding that this information is coming from recently declassified documents.<br /><br />The mainstream press seems alittle tone deaf on this issue.

Even GWB, in a speech today, told us he specifically did not say Saddam had anything to do with ordering the 9/11 attacks.<br /><br />Say what??? Cheney sure did, and while GWB may not have specifically used those words, he implied it over and over.<br /><br />Kind of reminiscient of Clinton parsing what the meaning of is is.
