Hhmmm?I cant figure this one out. Why are we training someone that wants Israel pushed into the ocean?

It really is simple.
It is the old saying that when your enemy is my enemy, we are friends
Train them so they are well equipped to go out and destroy Hamas,but teach them a limited scope so they will be predictable.
Besides,it makes them dependent on both Israel and the USA.
The PLO has by now turned into a partner in the war against Hamas and El Qaida.I would not be amazed at all if the CIA is recruiting Palestinians in an effort to infiltrate El Qaida.
Israel's success against Hamas is at least partly because of PLO cooperation.
