Ultimate stupid question

I bought a boat last fall with a 1500 Merc and the trim pump is mounted in the boat. This unit has 4 hydraulic lines/2 cylinders.I then picked up an 81 150 Merc V6 that I want to install. It also has a remote pump, but only 2 lines/1 cylinder.I have the pump that came with the V6,but the electric motor part was not working, got taken off and lost.I know I can get the motor, but was wondering if there were parts avail. anywhere to adapt the existing pump to the single cylinder. Some sort of block/adapter to convert the 2 up lines to 1 and so on.This is sort of a temporary measure for now to try out the V6.If the motor runs well then I'll buy the right motor for the pump.I know it's possible to do,just wondering if anyone knows of parts or has done this. It's either this or I guess just rig the motor and run it without trim for now.Thanks.

Re: Ultimate stupid question

The 4 line pump wont work as the pressure settings are set up different in the manifold of pump, the pump you need is seen a lot on Ebay...

Thanks Faztbullet
I guess I'll just wait to mount the motor until I can afford the pump.I ran it on the stand a couple of weeks a go and it sounded pretty good.Just wanted to get it on before summer sneaks by on me.
