Ultra sonic unit

I just ordered a ultra sonic unit to clean carb's for quads and boats tiered of using berrymans that gets old and chunky to toxin for me. What do you use for a good mix in the sonic unit that does not turn the aluminum black? This is a new territory for me so Thanks for any help on this.

Ive had good luck with simple green or purple power mixed with water

blamtro, Thanks I do have simple green here will give that a try when unit arrives Thanks will up date when I use it on the carb.

Simple green original will turn aluminum dark. You want simple green aircraft formula. used in all of our ultrasonic tanks.Mix with water.

dazk14, Thank you I did try the purple stuff first turned the bowl black with some kind of coating on it so switched to dish soap got it off. Had simple green but not enough to run with was not the aircraft stuff what do you mix it at 50/50? With the dish soap had to run 2 times finally got the black coating off. Really love the unit cleans great and fast if I can get the right mix in it.
