Unbeleiveable!! Wifes mad at me!!

The wife is mad at me because I didn't have the boat ready this weekend(shift cable bellows) and we are not at the lake right now, She is upset right now saying ,"I told you you should have called them earlier this week"(Just got off the phone with Napa and yes they have the part in stock $12.95, So I guess we are going to go get the boat bring it to Napa(exit 25A) and Then head to the lake(exit 31) and I can fix it right there on the spot. She is acting like she is really heart broken, So Guess what I am getting ready to go do right now, wish me luck!! I better make the wife happy so off to fix the boat we go!! Anyone elses wife ever get upset with you because boat wasn't ready, NOW!!

Well we had to head back from the lake after I relpaced the shift cable bellows, we found out that boat is still leaking and I was discouraged on the way home and she just lokked at me and said "Yes but at least we know that the fuel pump,solenoid,starter,bilge pump,shiftcable bellows that you fixed works! I just looked at her and smiled and said you know what, your right, I felt better on the way home, She said don't worry you'll figure this one out too(water coming into boat) and ohh the lower unit is working good too, so far!! But we still spent the rest of the day swimming with our 2 little ones(dogs) didn't want to waste the trip

Wish my wife would get mad because we couldn't go out on the boat. Sounds like you may have the perfect situation to show up next weekend and surprise her with a new boat!

Yes I have to say that I am fortunate, all the things I've had to do lately she supported me all the way to try and fix the boat, we "always" have other things that we can/need to spend money on but the boat has come first(lower $560) + everything else done lately. Yes she loves to get out on the lake every weekend just as much as I and the little ones(dogs) do, She already is looking forward to doing some thing next weekend(camping) even if the boats not ready, she is the one mentioning it not me-Honest! I said yesterday that I thought we needed to get a bass boat too, that way if Waven'Bye wasn't ready or was having problems we at least would have another boat to take for backwoods camping--SHE AGREED, she hates being home on the weekends too!! she would rather be at the lake being happy, so yes "I AM" very fortunate.
