I under catalized a batch of poly. resin by about 50%. Is this anything to worry about? it seems to be cured but I'm worried about strength issues. I'm laminating stringers, should I grind off and start over, or just add another layer of poly. and mat?<br />THANKS.

50% under what? If you wanted to mix it at 2% but only mixed it at 1% there is no problem, if you wanted 1% and now it's .5% then there could be problems. Is it hard now, did the left over resin in the container get hard, how long has it been sitting there? I hope you don't need to start over, it might be OK, but get us more info.

Poly has to kick within a certain window of time or it never reaches it's total barcole hardness. When I was in the glassing trade, mfgs had charts that showed cure vs time vs strength. Several hours used to be ok and several days not ok.

If it cures within 1 or two days without being tacky, no problem. Otherwise, add an extra layer on top of it.
