Under water lights

Hello am looking to install under water lights on my boat .there is so many to choose from not sure witch ones to get ? I was looking at drain plug light but not sure how bright they are if they will work in cloudy water where I boat ..any suggestions on lights or reviews on drain plug light would be much appreciated. Am looking for a good light that is not a lot of money

I see no responses thus far so I'll bit. Are you looking for bottom lights for some type of fish attractor or merely some decoration? That would determine what type of lights that would be needed in my pinion. :)

Yes I should of been more clear about the porpoise of the lights ..am looking to use the lights as decoration I think they look cool when boating at night .and would be use full if had any prop issues ...thanks

Drain mount is usually only a single light and not practical if you have to remove the plug often. Also some protrude like a bulb hanging on your transom. I would take a look at the "Coastal Night Lights" (CoastalNightLights.com) the site has sample pics and mounting info. Company is a one man setup run by a member of another forum, it seems to be getting some good reviews as far as cost Vs product.

It's an 88 24' would love to up grade buts been a great boat good on gas and with 325 hp and 19 pitch prop is up on plane within 200 feet and back off the throttle cuts threw the waves awesome ..check out my video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zATS87NYX0E curious what pitch prop do you run on yours ?...thanks for the link bobdec

I have a VP drive on my 2420 and I'm running B6 props.

I would go with the lights that mount to the trim tabs.

I just added LED strip lights to the cockpit and cabin

Under water lights coming next
