Have had my 2013 Yami 25hp (SEHA) for about a year and have always thought it was loud for a 4 stroke. Also, doesn't seem to run as smooth as even my old 2 stroke Merc. I can feel a slight vibration thru the tiller handle at or near full throttle. Have had it in for the 100hr but forgot to mention it then. Starts and runs fine ...just louder than I figure a 4 stroke would be and not as smooth either. Looking at upgrading to 40 or 50 hp Yami - are these any quieter or smoother? Loved the 150VMax I had for years...just underwhelmed with the smaller Yamaha so far.
