1988 3.7LX 180hp 224 cid Mercruiser 4 cyl.<br />Engine got water in it from leak in exhaust riser.<br />Pistons now stuck. Need to unfreeze them. Any idea's please???<br />Thanks
Pour Marvel Mystery Oil down each sparkplug hole. Let sit for several days and repeat. Then put a wrench on the front of the engine and try to turn. good luck
There's Going to be pitting in the cyl.s,+ god only knows what else.... IF you're going to keep this boat for awhile, Pull the engine,+ rebuild it Now, rather than Later....<br />The odds of getting this engine Started, are pretty Good....<br />The odds of this engine running along Time, are pretty Slim....
