universal wired remote

hi,
i have a sony stereo Model: CDXGT660UP and i was wondering if there is a brand i could by other than a "sony" transom wired remote. reasons being is that the cut out on the sony remote is nearly 4 inches. i don't like that. basically looking for one that has a smaller cut out.
