Unknown Boat!

Hi I was just wondering if anyone might know what kinda boat this is!! I was told its a 1970 22' Fiberform Jet boat.. It has a staggered dash area with the drivers side protruded more and has a built in swim platform thats part of the hull.. Other than that I really dont know anything about it! any help would be great!

She looks nice. Is there a title? Are there any badges, plates, engravings, stamps of any sort on the boat? What type of motor/jet drive?

If you take exact measurements, sometimes you can cross reference to existing databases, such as iBoats.

yeah all I have is an old registration!! It just says 1969 fiberfom model BT.. But I think that stands for boat!! but it says its 21' long and not much else!!! Ive just never seen another boat that has a built in swim platform that wasnt a huge boat!!! but its got berkley jet in it with a SB 400... Looks like a stock 400 just thrown in it!!.... ill have to look for stickers but so far cant find much!

ok now i purchased the boat!! now i have done a little snooping and Found a HIN Number on the back of the boat!! Its (HRS126790578) Now the HRS says that its a Harstil Industries Inc Boat but they only made sailboats..... and the number says that its a May of 1978 boat!!! WOW what is going on with this thing!!! Wonder if I didnt stumble upon something worth a bit more than i payed for it!!... Any help or advice would be awesome!!!

Does the HIN on the title match the boat? If not, you may have a headache on your hands, depending on what state you're in. You should check that right away, and correct as needed. The registration is way off from the HIN, and may cause you some issues.

Yeah its registered in Idaho and the registration only has HIN as Unknown lol but its still licensed and crap!! haha Idaho must not care!! But it clearly isnt registered as a Hawaiian.... Man is there any way to check to see if this thing is not HOTT

I would recommend checking out Boathistoryreport.com, it may be well worth the $35 to get the history report on the boat to see if it is a problem boat, they do list as a 1978 and certified in May of 1978, you never know, they may have played a bit in other types of boats besides the sail boats..
