Unknown johnson outboard (year/HP).

Hi all, I am new to the forum and to boat motors. I now have a "Johnson outboard motor, (model # FD 17B). (S/N 2373472). I do not see any numbers anywhere else on this motor. These #'s are right off the motor.
Any ideas out there?
