Hi Ya All, I have a Johnson VRO 70hp circa 1990 of which I would like to know more about. The only number I can find is stamped into a soft maetal plug, approximately 1" in diameter, which is set into the top of the block. The number is as follows:- 07554152. Any ideas as to what this represents.
Many thanks. Tyronutt

Re: Unknown Number

Further to this problem, I need to purchase a manual for this motor but until I can find out a bit more about it I am stuck. I intend to buy a Seloc Manual but there are two which may cover my model. It could either the one covering In Line 3/4 cyl 90/01 or 3/4/6 cyl 73/91. Any help appreciated.
Thanks. Tyronutt

Re: Unknown Number

Thats a serial number and unfortunately you may have to contact Bombardier to get the model from that. We could narrow it down but it would be nice to know the real model.

Don't worry the engine was bought from a reputable chap and I have had it for 15 years.
Can you please give me a link for Bombardier as suggested by Dhadley above?
Cheers.
