This part is off of a 74 Mercury 50HP outboard. The stainless part is the reverse lock cam on the shift shaft and the black plastic piece is right above it when the lower unit is assembled to the mid section. If anyone can tell what part number or the name of this piece (the black piece) I would appreciate it.
