i bought a late 80s 200 yamaha and it has a tube coming from the lower unit opposite of the prop, well i accidently crushed it between the hull and the bracket, i was told its either a spedo sensor or a vent for the drive oil. any takers? i do not want to take the engine back off and i do not have a spedo, i was just going to simply cut it and put in a union if i need to and then another tube to make up for it.
