I got this Merc 15 and don't know the year. Serial number is very hard to read. Thinking it's an 80's motor but not sure. Can anyone identify the year?
That colour of Decal was first used in 1986, and ran for a few yrs. There should be a metal Disk on the Powerhead, looks a bit like a Frost Plug. It should have the Serial # on it too.
