Unreadable boat capacity tag.

I am looking for a replacement hull capacity tag as my tag is sun faded and weathered to just a square of blank aluminum. There is 100% zero info on it.
Would a copy of a capacity tag from a similar craft close to the same size as my boat be acceptable to have reproduced and used for a replacement?
1981 Spectrum Blue Fin, 16 foot aluminum.

Never mind, I got it figured out, found some hints here, and found a graphics site that will recreate a capacity tag for me. Garzon Studios is their name.
