Well after a long painful weekend of Spraying Evinrude / Johnson Engine tune up spray the motor kicked and ran for 3 seconds.

Well we couldnt figure it out so I looked around the motor and found a hose that went to the carb it was severed off at the nipple. Well what i found out is it was for fuel recovery which I'm guessing is vacum orientated. So i removed the cut off piece and slid the good part on it it cranks and stays running. yes I had water running to the water intakes. But now the old box jammed up Monday we cant get it to move forward just reverse so we bought one off of ebay and awaiting for it. Once thats installed everything will be great. Thanks for all the help. I think the car bcleaning helped a lot.

Are you speaking of the small hose that attaches to the rear of the air box?

My brother and I have tried to move the throttle box or whatever its called without the cables hooke up inside the throttle and they move but when we try to move the throttle it still sticks. The throttle is from another engine thats what we think due to it doesnt look like an evinrude throttle set up.
