Ok here is my serial # OM360000 I put a bravo motor on a Alpha 1 gen 1 drive so i am overheating at idle speeds. I beleive its a 2003 (350 MAG MPI) 300 HP

Here is what i found i need part #864327 orifice and 864353 o-ring

Question these parts go in the tee below the thermostst housing do i need 1 each to go in bottom of tee or 2 each to go in right and left ports of tee.

Yes ecm was changed for shift interrupt ouch

Ayuh,.. Then Yourself,+ Nauticool Both have the Same issue...

Bolt on a Bravo motor driven raw water pump,+ get on with it...
Your motors are Not adaptable to the check-ball T-Stat housing...

:confused:There is not room where the pump is suppose to go . Gonna have to find a different way. I think all i have to do is restrict the flow enough so the water is in the engine long enough to cool it. Like i stated earlier if you look at the mercury schematic it shows a oring and orifice in the tee under the thermostat housing. Wonder if it will work or is this only on a gen 2 drive

The sea-**** can be mounted ANYWHERE in the hull, as long as it's underwater All the time...

Hi,
Sorry I didnt reply sooner. It seems we have the same issues indeed.
I have ordered the parts i need to retro fit the belt driven pump. Will keep you posted with the results. Shame you cant fit one to yours. How are you getting on?
