No freekin way, i would have paid him.
Had a problem with my daughters brand new car, covered under warranty, bring it in to the dealer i bought it from.
About a month after bringing it home.
Bye the way i bought and my sister between us bought maybe 5-6 cars from the same salesman.
They give me a bill when i pick it up, 100 bucks or so.
I say no way, they go into some bulls--t rant about this and that, if you held a gun to my head i can't tell you one word they said, i just turned them off in my mind.
I said best thing you can do is give me the car and now without taking this 100 dollar bill i had in my hand.
The boss of the service dept, says yea what ya gonna do about it and takes the money and gives me a reciept.
I drive the car out and he follows me, i when i clear the door i said, with the window down, your gonna beg me to take the 100 dollars back to stop the rain of s--t i'm about to bring down on you and the owner of this dealership.
This was at 9:00 am.
Next morning after i paid a call to the local guys i know, i get a call from the dealership boss of the service dept, saying it was all a mistake please come down and pickup my money.
I said f you and a few other choice words about his mother, sister, brother any anyone else related to him.Maybe i said a few words about him and the relations he has been having with his dog.
Seems the h-way dept started a project that required the driveways of the dealership to be blocked off that day, and who knows how long it's gonna be that way, and they couldn't get any cars on or off the lot.
Customers cars that had work done on it couldn't get off the lot.
They tried going over the grass and curb, but a cop stationed there wrote his whole quota for six months in tickets.
Seems that the electric service was cut, they were doing some work up the pole and was going to be out for who knows how long.
So after the phone call from the service boss, the owner pulls up to my house.
He's all pissed off, i'm messing around with my boat in the driveway.
I tell him the same thing i tell the pos on the phone.
I tell him i want the money back from the pos, in my hand the way i gave it to him in the dealership. After he begs me to take it.
So he calls the pos he comes over, he's all pissed off.
I tell them both the same thing all over again. But maybe mentioned how i enjoyed the favors of there wives.
And if they wanted they could get carried off my driveway in a pine box if they don't change there tune. So they get in the bosses car and come back out in 5 minutes all sorry.
The pos service boss begs me to take the money back.
Took the family to Friday's that night with that money.
