Hey - thought the group would like to see my most recent Alumacraft restoration project. You guys gave me a lot of good insights when starting the project, so I thought I should share the end result. I think she looks pretty good. What do you think? http://www.flickr.com/photos/nomrwrk/sets/72157626879285120/show/

Please feel free to ask me any questions about the project. I would like to give back and help the next person.

All the best!

Thanks for sharing! It looks way more than "pretty good". You have talent. Enjoy that great boat. I had the Lunker 16 SS and can relate.

Thanks Rivder - Runner! I am pleased with the outcome and happy to say the boat is performing very well. What I love about the Lunker is its versatility. It's not too big for one person to launch and operate and not too small for three die-hard fisherman. Its been on small and large lakes, big rivers and ocean bays. The 4lb density foam (72" x 54"/sheet) under whole deck and the rigidity from the 3/4" marine-ply deck really makes the boat feel very solid on the water. With that said, I am now looking for a new ocean-going aluminium project boat to compliment the Lunker. Tight Lines!
