UPPER & LOWER c/shaft bearings?

1992 Evinrude 200 that locked-up. I have found the PISTONS and RODS to be a-ok, but all rod bearings are rusted and no good. The questions is: The main c/shaft bearings show very little rust and move freely, so do the upper and lower c/shaft bearings, they move freely also. Should I replace ALL bearings?<br />Main c/shaft and upper and lower? Is it wise to put NEW rings on the pistons? ALSO...does anyone know details on PORT POLISHING???<br />Thank you!!<br />amor1964@aol.com

Hi,<br />Is your crank rusted?<br />replace all bearings.<br />replace rings and clean carbon from groves.<br />check cyl walls for roundness and taper.<br />hone the cyls.<br />What part of the port do you want to polish?<br /><br />corm
