I've got my 50HP powerhead off and the adapter plate mostly off. Only thing holding it is the two upper mount bolts that go through the steering arm. I applied about 60-70 ftlbs of torque but they are both being stubborn. Started worrying about breakage so squirted some penetrating oil in and called it a day.<br /><br />Any ideas on getting them out? Can't see applying heat near those rubber engine mounts.
