I have a 1990 4.3L OMC Cobra in a ski boat. Last time i took the boat out i heard a metal on metal sound coming from the engine compartment. Upon closer investigation, i saw that my water pump was pretty much rusted through almost exposing the shaft. I removed the water pump from the front of the engine block but now im having trouble finding a replacement. The part number on the old water pump is GM 10108455. I cant find this water pump anywhere and everyone i talk to tells me they have one that will work but nothings matching up. Does anyone have any idea what new model replaces the GM 10108455 water pump? I found one from Sierra that looks the same except where it lists the comprable model numbers, mine isnt included.
