Hey,

I thought I had posted this once before but it may have been another e-mail to US composites, don't remember. But I was just curious if anyone here is in Canada and has ordered from US Composites? I've tried to e-mail them about 4 or 5 times and haven't received a response from them. Just want to make sure that they will ship to Canada as I'm going to be placing a fairly big order with them, also what the shipping costs were approximately for what was ordered. Any help would be awesome!

Was kind of hoping to save on the long distance bill... my rates suck (cell phone and cell phone only). Internet is free for me though. If no one here has an info then I'll just have to bite the bullet I guess.

dont know the rates, but epoxy they ship for free, and poly they charge due to haz mat, even so they couldn't beat my local supplier on either so I just bought it locally. We have several big name builders in my area, that may be the reason for the good prices here. That surprises me, most, if not all, wireless providers in the US offer some sort of free long distance. However the only thing I know about Canada is beer and cigarettes cost alot more there than here. And Canadiens are generally friendlier except perhaps in Quebec. :)

Well, the thing about the rest of Canada is most of the wireless providers you also find down in the states. Unfortunately in Saskatchewan, the telco is a crown corporation (government owned) and they've been the only ones that have been able to afford to put up towers for the great coverage we get here. But they are a bit behind the times when it comes to LD and such, and are really kind of forced into a corner with it due to the CRTC regulating them and forcing them to re-sell their towers to other corporations for cost. This means the competition can sell their service, using their towers, for WAY less then our telco can. The REALLY crappy part is I work at this telco, the internet is free but they won't do the same for cell plans :)

Cigarettes are bloody expensive, $11.00 a pack, beer is about $1.00 a beer if you buy from the Liqour Board. But it's good beer so it's all good :)

I'm going to check out that express composites and see how they compare, I don't really have too much of a choice about ordering this stuff from somewhere (expoxy, foam, and roving) because there isn't anyone locally that supplies it :(

Thank you!

looks like the verdict is I'm going to have to give em a shout. I'd like to say that getting a calling card and calling from a payphone was an option but there are very few payphones inside of buildings here anymore and being it's just about 30 below now, I ain't standing outside :) I just figure that if they want to run an business with an online precense they would atleast reply back to atleast ONE e-mail, kind of puts a sour taste in my mouth, but oh well.

ask to borrow the phone at your local diner, lol.
I do multiple stop deliveries and I'm always
asking to borrow the phone. make sure you
tell them it's a toll free 800 number. that always
helps them say yes.

I could do that. I'm a pretty good customer of a restaurant here, they can't say no! :) *laugh* I know their e-mails aren't spam blocked. My e-mail is completely open because it's for an online business and I can't afford to not get e-mail. Maybe they've got a spam blocker? who knows. Anyways, I'll get ahold of them, and let everyone else know what the deal is. Thanks!

I have been ordering from US Composites for the last 4 years. Ups delivers right to my door in Ontario within 3 business days. Shipping and duty bills follow about 2 weeks later

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I thought it would be tons more for shipping, but that isn't bad at all. Glad to hear the turn around time is quick as well. I guess I'll be putting my order in soon after Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to anyone that sees this :)
