hello all, I have a 1988 cobra 1800 bow rider that I'm hunting a used bimini top for. I really don't know if one was ever offered for it, but would like to find one if avaliable for it . Any one have a used one, or any ideas? thanks for any and all help on my build up. This forum is the best by far for boat issues.IF any one has any pictures of one installed on a cobra 1800 ,I'd like to see them.thanks again. ROLL TIDE!!!!!

Parts for these off-models are going to be difficult to find at best. eBay will be your best shot at finding them.

Consider parts from other boats too, like the Capri series. Bayliner tried to avoid specific specialized parts whenever possible.

I copied this from another website but it sums up your question to a tee.

Re: used bimini top?

I'm fortunate in that one of my neighbors deals with charity boats. He has odds and ends that flow through frequently. I got a bimini frame from him this summer for my McKee Craft. It came off of a bigger boat. I had to take 7" out of each side of the frame members. I had rails and fittings laying around. Later he found the canvas off of an even bigger boat. Mom has that now chopping 16" of either side of that. Haven't spent a dime on the project yet.
It can happen.

Cabela's carries a pretty extensive selection of "universal" tops. Off the top of my head, I think the cheapest one is about 150 bucks. Then there is always ebay, can find almost anything there.

Overton's does too.
I bought one for my Searay (see sig) two seasons ago for $170-ish.
